FIRST IMPRESSION
This might be my favorite bag out of the three I received this month. I’m in love with this blue-to-yellow gradient design! And the shape is unique. It’s so pretty, I want to use it every day. I think I’ll keep it in my big shoulder bag as a way to separate my to-go makeup from the rest of the clutter.

WANDER BEAUTY Frame Your Face Precise Brow Gel in Clear

If there’s one makeup item I use every day, it’s brow gel. Even when I don’t fill in my brows, I like to use it just so I don’t have to worry about my eyebrows going haywire as I go through my day. This Wander Beauty gel works exceptionally well. My go-to is the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow gel, and I’d say this is comparable. However, since they’re both at a similar price point, I might just stick to my regular gel when I’m done with this tube.
BEAUTY FOR REAL Hi Def Mascara in Just Black

Black mascara is a staple in many beauty boxes, but I think this might be the first time I was truly happy to receive one! Listen, I have fine, short, stubby eyelashes that angle down. With those full brush applicators, I often get just as much mascara on my lids, undereye, and contacts (yikes!) as I do on my actual lashes. Thank goodness for this micro-brush! I’m finally able to coat all of my lashes – yes, even the tiniest ones in the corner of my eyes!
SUGAR RUSH A+ Brush Set

I love receiving a brush set in a bag! Getting makeup is fun, but getting brushes feels like I’ve made a good investment, you know? This set comes with a pencil crease brush, a round blending brush, and a tapered blending brush. While the handles feel well-made, there was some fallout upon first use of the brushes. Despite that, I’m still a fan of these brush heads. They look and feel full, and the bristles are sturdy enough that I’m confident they can withstand a lot of use.
COLOURED RAINE COSMETICS Vineyard Soirée Palette

Out of all the products IPSY spoiled, this was the one I wanted the most. Violets look best on my skin tone, and I’ve been in need of a palette in those shades that look good together. I am so happy with this product! I honestly can’t pick a favorite shade because they’re all so nice in their own way. I love that there’s enough variety that I can do a daytime or a nighttime look!
SUNDAY RILEY Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment

I’ve been positively lusting over Sunday Riley Good Genes after receiving sample sizes in various boxes. When I saw this as a choice item for the month, I couldn’t hit that submit button fast enough! Good genes is just really amazing at transforming my dull skin into something smoother and brighter. Plus, it smells good, too – certainly much better than the last couple of Sunday Riley items I received in my IPSY bags!
FINAL IMPRESSION
The Glam Bag Plus May 2020 is my favorite bag to date! I can’t pick a favorite item this time around because I just loved everything! This bag feels so perfect for me – which I accredit to IPSY’s algorithm for assigning products to their customers.
