Target Beauty Box is a monthly offering of the store’s beauty and hygiene products. Though not technically a subscription, these one-time-purchase boxes are usually curated well. These boxes have introduced new-to-me items that have become my vanity staples. Read on for my Target Beauty Box review!

FIRST IMPRESSION

Inside the Target Beauty Box Clean Routine Box

If you’re like me and you’ve come across a lot of subscription boxes, you probably also developed an appreciation for a well-constructed box. I love reusing boxes to store odds and ends or repurposing them as gift boxes. Target boxes are usually great for the latter since they have such pretty designs like this one. I’ll make a cute gift tag or sticker with my Cricut to place on top of the Target logo, and this box will be good to go!

The theme of this box is “Clean Routine”.

ON TO THE ITEMS!

  • artnaturals Vitamin C serum

artnaturals Vitamin C Serum

Size: 0.33 fl oz (Full size: 1 oz)

RV: $4.29 (Full size: $12.99)

Vitamin C serum has become more popular in recent years, and it’s no wonder: it boasts wrinkle-fighting properties, and it brightens and moisturizes, too! Wrinkles, age spots, and dullness are not issues I’m dealing with – yet – so I can’t testify as to how effective this product is for those issues. I have combination skin that tends to either be really oily or really dry depending on the day, and I haven’t noticed much of a difference when using this product. For now, this product isn’t for me, but it might be useful for someone else!

  • hello Charcoal-infused toothbrush

hello bpa-free toothbrush

Size: 1 ct. (Full size: 2 ct)

RV: $3.50 (Full size: $6.99)

Hey, who doesn’t love getting new a toothbrush? That’s like, the main reason I go to the dentist is to get a freebie toothbrush on my way out! Anyway, I’ve been thinking of switching out my travel brush, so I’m glad to get this. I’m so intrigued by this charcoal-infused toothbrush! In a past box, I received the hello charcoal toothpaste, so I’ll pair it with this and report back!

  • Love Beauty Planet Coconut Milk & White Jasmine Hand Cream

Love Beauty Planet Coconut Milk & White Jasmine Hand Cream

Size: 1 oz

RV: $4.99

All this constant handwashing has been wrecking my skin. Part of staying healthy is making sure your skin doesn’t have any cracks or breaks – the skin is a barrier that keeps out germs, so keep your skin moisturized!

I love this hand cream. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. And I usually have an issue with jasmine-scented products because they tend to be overpowering, but not this one! It’s got a pleasing, light floral scent. I’ve kept this in my purse for a couple of weeks, and it’s been a lifesaver!

  • Lavanila deodorant

  • Lavanila deodorant top view

Lavanila Pure Healthy Vanilla Deodorant

Size: 0.90 oz (Full size: 2 oz)

RV: $5.40 (Full size: $11.99)

Recently, I made the switch to natural deodorant, and I haven’t looked back! I’ve been trying out different brands (maybe I’ll even do a roundup of natural deodorants in boxes in the future), so this item was the main reason I snagged this box. There have been great reviews about Lavanila, so I wanted to see what it was all about.

This is a really nice scent, and it applies pretty easily. It works well for someone like me who spends most of her day in front of a laptop, so I can’t attest to how well it would work for someone with a more high-intensity routine. But I like it, and I’ll likely buy more once I go through my stash!

  • hello hemp seed oil + coconut oil toothpase

hello hemp seed oil + coconut oil fluoride free toothpaste

Size: 1 oz. (Full size: 4 oz)

RV: $1.50 (Full size: $5.99)

I’m happy to get a second hello product in this box! I had never tried a hemp seed oil or coconut oil toothpaste before (I didn’t even know that was a thing!). This has a lovely spearmint flavor, and it does a pretty good job cleaning my teeth. Would I buy this on my own? At $5.99 for a full-size tube, probably not. However, I may splurge on a travel-sized one!

FINAL IMPRESSION

Target Beauty Box Clean Routine - all products

This was a solid box! I love that I got to try some new brands I’ve been keeping an eye on. This is one of the best things about beauty boxes, and subscription boxes in general – trying out products without paying full price!
