FIRST IMPRESSION

My first impression of this box was that it’s so huge! Aside from a few oversized boxes I received from Bespoke Post, FFF probably has the biggest subscription box I’ve ever received. I was so excited to open it…

And when I did, I realized that it was mostly filler. A bit of a bummer, really. But I suppose size doesn’t matter when it comes to boxes(?).

On to the items!

  • R+CO Shampoo and Conditioner
  • R+CO Shampoo
  • R+CO Conditioner

Customization 1:

R+CO Television Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner

Size: 8.5 fl oz each bottle

SRV: $64

This shampoo and conditioner set is supposed to give me camera-ready hair. I hope it’s ready to take on the challenge of my long, dry, and damaged hair!

This set boasts to be paraben + sulfate free, petrolatum + mineral oil free, and cruelty + gluten free. It is vegan, and it claims to provide UV protection for your strands. Personally, I’ve never thought of having to protect my hair from UV rays, but I guess that makes sense!

Both shampoo and conditioner have a light, pleasant fragrance. The scent kind of reminds me of passing by makeup and fragrance counters at high-end department stores. I’m gonna feel extra fancy lathering this up in the shower every day!

Coming in at 8.5 fl oz each, it feels like this set is going to last me only a month. After using these for about a month, I did a separate review for this product that you can read here!

  • Lashes MD box
  • Lashes MD tube

Customization 2:

LashesMD Eyelash Conditioner

Size: 4 mL

SRV: $69.95

I’m not super excited to get this item. I signed up late for the box, so it was this or the Erno Laszlo Pore Cleansing Clay Mask, and I’m simply drowning in masks right now, so I got this lash conditioner.

This can be used for eyelashes or eyebrows. I’ll be using it for eyebrows, 1) because my sparse eyebrows need to be rehabilitated; and 2) there’s a warning on the box to avoid getting this fluid into your eyes, and with my stubby eyelashes, there’s no way I’d be able to avoid it!

This formula promises initial results in three weeks, so we shall see! I’ll be using this regularly as well, and will post a separate review for this item!

  • A box of Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops
  • Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops

Customization 3:

Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops

Size: 31 mL

SRV: $55

Again, this item wasn’t my first choice, and I’m still unsure whether I want to use this or gift it. This is meant to be a primer and highlighter in one; you just apply two drops of the formula onto your face, and it’s supposed to give you a soft glow. This might be good for people who suffer through the winter with dry skin–it might give you that extra boost of radiance.

For me, my skin tends to be oily all year round, and I often reach for a mattifying formula to tone down the shine. This might go to my sister, who might get much more use out of this!

  • Gray Vooray Crossbody Bag
  • Inside the Vooray Crossbody Bag
  • Inside Lining of the Vooray Crossbody Bag

Customization 4:

Vooray Sidekick Crossbody Bag

SRV: $17.99

This might be one of the lower-value items in the entire Winter selection, but I think it might be my favorite! We’re heading out of winter now, and I’m looking forward to a new season of concerts and music festivals, so a small bag like this is going to be really handy!

This bag is 5 x 7”. It can fit my phone, a small wallet, and my little bag of touchups. Everything I’ll need for the whole day! It comes with a strap so you can wear this as a crossbody bag, but I might turn it into wristlet because it’s that small.

There’s a zippered pocket on one side and a couple of open pockets for keys or lipstick on the other. I’m excited to use this bag!

  • Color Switch
  • Back of Color Switch Box

Customization 5:

Vera Mona Color Switch Solo

SRV: $16.99

Again, this is one of the lower-priced items in this box, but I’m so glad to have it! I don’t have an extensive brush collection, so this seems like something incredibly useful!

After using your brush, you just swish the tip against the sponge in a circular motion. The sponge material cleans the brush, and then you can use that same brush on a different color.

The Color Switch is supposedly reusable as well. Just wash with soap and water, and let dry so you can use it over and over again. Neato!

  • Nailsinc Incredible Gloves
  • Back of Nailsinc Incredible Gloves

Inc.redible Nailsinc Thirsty Hand Mask Duo

Size: 18 mL per pack (2 packs)

SRV: $16

I’m not a huge fan of receiving one-time use products in boxes (we did get two pairs of gloves, so I guess it’s a little better). I do get severe dryness on knuckles and wrists during the cold winter months, so we’ll see if this product is worth it after all!

Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler

Size: 5 fl oz

SRV: $23

Like I said, I have long, sad hair, so I’m always on the lookout for hair products that promise any kind of improvement! This formula has biotin, vitamins B and C, and UV blockers. I don’t really use blow dryers or hot tools on my hair, so I don’t really need the heat protection this product promises. But I’ve always wanted to try Drybar, so I’m happy to have received this in my box!

  • Box of Makeup Eraser
  • Pink Makeup Eraser

Makeup Eraser in Original Pink

Size: 15.5 x 7.5”

SRV: $20

This is one of those miracle items that supposedly doesn’t need any extra help from other products. I find this promising, as I’m usually so terrible at buying makeup removers.

This little cloth towel is supposedly antibacterial, reusable, and lasts 3 to 5 years! If it holds up to all that it claims, that would be amazing!

FINAL IMPRESSION

When I first opened this box, let me tell you, I was a little disappointed. After reading through so many seasons of amazing lifestyle products, I thought the curation of this box wasn’t up to par. However, I do feel like most of the items I received are at least useful. I just wish the product choices were more exciting this time around!
