Birchbox is a monthly box that sends out makeup and skincare products. They are mostly deluxe sample sizes, although they sometimes add full-sized items. There are a lot of options each month as to what you’ll receive. FIRST IMPRESSION
Another cute box from Birchbox! It’s an awesome design, and the color palette is beautiful. I’ve never paired this shade of pink with orange, and it’s just gorgeous.

Floss Beauty My New Favorite Lip Gloss – YUL
Size: 0.53 oz

This is aptly named – it is literally my new favorite lip gloss! I love the nostalgic packaging. It reminds me of my first lip glosses in middle school – but an elevated version. The formula is fantastic! It’s not at all tacky like some other glosses. It goes on really smooth, and it stays smooth. I dislike when I press my lips together, and I can see my lip marks on the lipgloss. No issues with that here!
YUL is sheer, so it’s perfect for those minimal makeup days. The shine is evident but not blinding.

Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture CC Cream

I’m not sure what anti-aging means when it comes to hair care, so I’m don’t really know what I’m looking for as an end-result for this cream. It does have a good consistency, and it tamed some of my flyaways. There’s a good amount in this sample, but I don’t think I’ll be using this again because its floral scent is too strong for my sensitive nose.
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser

I love all the Kiehl’s products I’ve tried, and this one is no exception. This cleanser feels really good on my skin – not too thick and not too gritty like some other clay formulas can be. My skin feels clean right after use. There’s a lot of product in this sample for several uses, so I’m happy to throw this in my toiletry bag!
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil

I’ve been wanting to try this Sunday Riley product for a long time, so this was my pick for the month. It claims to make noticeable changes to your skin within a short period. According to the package, the next day after your first use you’ll see that “skin tone, dryness, surface redness, and luminosity are instantly, visibly improved”. And within four weeks, it claims to reduce signs of aging. I’ll be posting a separate review of this product to see if this lives up to its promise!
Wander Beauty Double Date Lip and Cheek – Rendezvous
Size: 1.05 g (Full size: 2.10 g)

I appreciate a product that does double duty! This is a buildable pigment that does the job of a blush and lip tint, although I do prefer it on my lips. It’s a very nice, everyday pink that works well with a natural look.
FINAL IMPRESSION
I really like this box! It’s a great mix of skincare, haircare, and makeup! There were a lot of great brands represented in this box, too! It’s always nice to see products like Sunday Riley and Kiehl’s in a box.
