QMS Medicosmetics – Intensive Eye Care
Size: 15 mL
RV: $148.80
BoxyPopUp Price: $12
I’m on the fence about this product. On the one hand, my skin feels really hydrated when I use it. A lot of the times when I use an eye cream, I don’t really notice a difference of moisture levels between my undereye and the rest of my face. When I use this product, though, I can feel the difference. The part of my skin that I apply this on is just so supple and hydrated compared to my cheeks and forehead. I think this stuff works as advertised.
However, my biggest complaint is that it stings. I know I have a low tolerance for pain, but I’m always hesitant to use this product every time because it just hurts for the first couple of minutes.
When this came in the mail, it didn’t come packaged. There were no ingredients listed on the jar. Even BoxyCharm’s product page didn’t provide a list. I had to search on Google to find this information.
I went to the QMS Medicosmetics website, and this was their claim:
“Natural Silk Acacia and Sigesbeckia Orientalis extracts provide a powerful anti-aging combination that helps boost elasticity, smooth out wrinkles and reduce dark circles and puffiness. Matrixyl 3000®, stimulates the skin’s own repair processes to improve the structure of the skin whilst Hyaluronic Acid provides intensive hydration to the skin. Jojoba and Avocado Oils nourish and protect the skin.”
I suppose the HA and the Matrixyl 3000 components are the ones responsible for the painful sensation. While I love the immediate effects of this product, I can’t help but wonder if the ingredients causing the stinging will be bad for the delicate undereye in the long run.

LUXIE- Gaea Set – 3 Piece Brush Set
RV: $30
BoxyPopUp Price: $6
This set is so great! The brush ends are so soft, but the bristles are firm enough that I can do more detailed makeup applications without worrying about smudging.
I received the LUXIE 250 Large Eye Blending brush, LUXIE 246 Precision Crease brush, and LUXI 510 Foundation brush. I particularly like the crease brush the most. It’s wonderful for softening the edges of my eyeliner for an easy smoky effect.

Elemis – Pro Collagen Rose Facial Oil
Size: 15 mL
RV: $79
BoxyPopUp Price: $12
I love Elemis; all the products I’ve used from this brand have been effective for me. This bottle looks great! I love how the dropper has an angled tip – so unique!
This has a very strong rose scent, which would have been an issue for me. It’s a good thing I didn’t purchase it for myself! Personally, I don’t use facial oils because I’m usually combating oiliness already. I purchased this for my boyfriend, who does have dry skin and would probably get a lot of use out of this product…if I’m successful in getting him to use it! His skincare routine currently consists of one step: bar soap. It is simply appalling for someone like me who has a multi-step regimen. I’m slowly trying to get him to use cleansers, toners, and serums, and I think I’m finally wearing him down.
First 5 Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isoamyl Cocoate, Coco-Caprylate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil
